FAQ's Picking Up the Car
FAQ's Picking Up the Car back to list

Where do I check what type of fuel is used by the vehicle I have rented?

The type of fuel of the rental car appears in the contract and on a tag attached to the car keys. If you cannot find it, ask the staff of any petrol station to help you identify the type of fuel used. Alternatively, contact our Travel Assistance service:

95 and 98 octane unleaded petrol is available from Spanish petrol stations and both types of petrol are suitable for petrol engines.

If you refuel the vehicle with an incorrect type of fuel, do not start the vehicle and immediately contact the Travel Assistance Department.
