When is the fuel deposit refunded?

The deposit will be released a few days after returning the vehicle, but it is possible that your bank will carry out the operation at the end of the month and it will not be shown on your statement. Check with your bank for more information.

These are the two fuel systems that Goldcar and its functioning:

-Full-Full: you will be requested to prepay a deposit for the value of the fuel inside the tank. We deliver it FULL to you. Once you return it FULL, Goldcar will return you the paid amount. If the car was not delivered FULL, please let the Goldcar staff know before starting your rental. If you restitue the vehicle with less fuel than on departure, the cost of the missing fuel and refuelling fees will be deducted from the fuel deposit.

-Smart Return: you will be requested to prepay a deposit for the value of the fuel inside the tank. This system allows you return the vehicle without a full tank. The cost of the missing fuel is deducted from the fuel deposit. You can ask for it at the counter if you wish to enjoy this convenient system.
